I thought and thought on what to give you,
Nothing special came to mind.
Then I realized, cause I love you,
I think I'll just give you something
To make you feel like you can fly.
A crush is fleeting, like summer memories,
Lust fades, like a tan in the winter.
Infatuation can melt, like ice,
And leave you empty, as black as white.
But love is forever, like a diamond,
Love is what I give.
People wonder why I love you,
Wonder what you have to give...
But I just smile, because, no matter what,
I love you for you, thats all it is.
So love is what I have for you,
And what I'll continue to give.
Because since I met you,
Loving you is the only way to live.

Somehow this is my most popular piece. I'm glad, I suppose, even though he tried to break my heart and we've been split up for a few years.
